South America—The Ultimate Backpacker’s Travel Destination
This is one of the most scenic travel montages I’ve seen in a while. Watch Backpacker Steve hit all the great must-see sites in South America.
Does anyone else laugh whenever they hear the name Lake Titikaka uttered? I mean, what a strange, almost explicit name—am I right?
My favorite sites were:
- The salt flats at Salar de Uyuni in Bolivia: Something really intriguing about a lake turned into a massive block of salt.
- The whole of Buenos Aires: The culture looks really busy, yet inviting.
- Punta Arenas in Chile: Gotta see all those penguins some day!
- Torres del Paine in Patagonia: Extreme beauty, nuff said.
