Amazing!

If you’re lucky enough to have a decent broadband connection, the quality at 4K is pretty awesome.

The country side, jungles and beaches are typically what draw tourist to Rio, but for me one of the most intriguing things about the second largest city in Brazil (and 35th largest city in the world) is the favelas.

I’m drawn to the shantytowns. There’s just something magnetic about the contrast between the blend of picturesque Euro-Portuguese architecture in a gorgeous tropical locale, mixed with the somber reality that poverty still exists everywhere.

Perhaps I’m drawn to the danger as well. Most civilized countries don’t have completely un-policable areas, with gangsters toting automatic weapons in plain site. Despite Rio’s beauty you still have to remember that you’re in South America.
