Interested in Visiting one of the Most Explosive (and Beautiful) Landmarks on the Planet?

I’m a huge history buff and just love the cinematography in this video, showing the sites around Santorini (also called “Thera”) off the coast of Crete, in the Greek islands. where a huge explosion decimated the entire Minoan civilization over 3 thousand years ago (learn more). Crazy how so much beauty evolves from such massive destruction.

Santorini gets the carved out features and cliffs it has today because the eruptions that have happened over the years, mostly the Minoan disaster, have sank much of what used to be a rather large single land mass.

The sunsets here are really magical, some of the best in the world.

What part of Santorini do you want to see?
