50 Mostly Cool Facts About Canada

Well, the 10+ feet of snow that covers the North most of the year has finally melted: skidoos, the main method of travel across the land, have been traded for SUV’s and minivans; the polar bears have hibernated and the blacks and grizzlies are now roaming about…

Now is the perfect time to visit Canada before the cold, snow and ice hit!

Travel Inspiration: 50 Facts About Canada

I found the UFO landing pad in St. Paul, Alberta interesting, so I checked out the town’s official site: http://www.town.stpaul.ab.ca/UFO-Landing-Pad . Sounds kinda kooky to me, but if that’s what they have to do to boost tourism, go for it.

Interesting to see that Canada has more coastline than anywhere else too. Lots of fishing, boating and other watersport fun to be had everywhere — and it’s true about the lakes, they’ve got Wisconsin beat!

Anyhow, there’s lots of great reasons to stock up on toonies and loonies and get up there pronto.

Don’t forget to share if you like!
