Airports and Airline Companies: Ratings, Myths and Tips for Getting the Most of Your Air Travel

Planning to travel soon? Here’s a boatload of information about how the very best airports and airline companies stack up against each other, along with some useful tips for having the most hassle-free experience possible:

Airline Info

It’s a little depressing not to see any of the discount airlines like JetBlue, Spirit or Frontier anywhere on the most popular list. Makes you wonder if anyone’s actually interested in saving money anymore?

One section that I felt was a little false was the best and worst times to book information. Aside from holidays, I just don’t believe there’s really an ideal time to book. With all the deal finding tools online (like Uptourist’s Flight Rate Comparison Tool), I just don’t buy that you have to book flights well in advance like all these experts try to convince us we need to. Airlines have to be competitive with each other. Competition between these companies is a good thing for all travelers!

Please, share any horror stories you’ve had with any of the top airports/airlines listed and feel free to share any budget-crimping tips you have for saving on airfare and baggage fees.Happy and safe travels!
