First and foremost, when you visit Copenhagen don’t forget to buy a Copenhagen Card. The cost is reasonable at 40-euro a day for adults and 25-euro a day for kids. Each pass allows for 2 children under the age of 10 to tag along and enjoy the benefits of the card at no charge.
The Copenhagen Card is offered by the tourism board in the country and it gives you access to most all the major sites and attractions, free public transportation, and significant discounts on restaurants and other sites that aren’t included free of charge. Make sure to take a scenic canal tour and visit the famed Rosenborg Castle, which is included in the card itinerary.
